Workplace massages can be done during working hours on the employees-desk. They have a preventive character and typically take 10 minutes of each person's time.
A chair massage is a bit longer session which is performed on a special ergonomic chair which we take with us. In such a session not only neck and shoulders, but also the arms, the back and the head are treated. The technique is based on Shiatsu (acupressure). Managers who are constantly under heavy stress can benefit from the sensation of a deep inner rest after the treatment, so that they stand strong again in future possibly difficult situations.
A chair massage can be given during or after working hours in a quiet, pleasant aired space in the company. Chair massages have also a preventive character and offer a deeper state of relaxation and clarity. They take typically about 20 minutes.

We applied this concept for the first time on the last conference about 'Quality in the public sector' in Hasselt (Belgium), and the appreciation for this initiative turned out to be very high.
People could register themselves for a treatment, and on that very hour they were received in a specially prepared relaxation room, where they received a treatment either on a chair or on a futon.
A short treatment according to what is necessary on that very moment, brings rest, relaxation and clarity to be able to follow the next sessions attentively.

This concept can also be expanded to conferences, where booth holders are typically working from early in the mornings to late in the evenings, and can use a short revitalizing treatment from time to time.
Organizers of big conferences can book this service, and offer in this way just that little bit extra to the booth holders who sign up for it, f.e. a pair of short treatments per person per day.
